We are delighted to announce the annual Dave Greber Nonfiction Social Justice Award. The award is made possible by the generosity of Mrs. Shirley Dunn. It carries a prize of $2000CAD (Canadian) for excellence in writing, research and storytelling on subjects related to social justice. It is open to graduating students in the Creative Nonfiction track.
This award will be judged by two faculty members from Bar Ilan and a third outside reader. The program reserves the right to withhold award in years when no submission is judged worthy. The chosen student will be asked to write a letter of thanks to the donor, Mrs. Shirley Dunn, and send a copy of the submission to her.
This year, we will hold an award ceremony on May 7, 2017 in conjunction with the Andrea Moriah Prize in Poetry.
