Title: Prosody in interaction: Exposing power relations between speakers in a dialogue
Abstract: As speakers, we can produce combinatorial diversity of sounds for different purposes, including the way we project our identity, and our social characteristics in a specific context. In this talk, I will present the method I have developed with colleagues to model the prosodic dynamicity between speakers in dialogues. I will show how I trace the footprints of the information from the speech signal of dialogues in the context of task-oriented dialogues, and political interviews.
