Awards

We are delighted to announce our annual awards:

The Andrea Moriah Poetry Prize of $500 USD given to a student enrolled in the poetry track.  This award will be judged by two faculty members from Bar Ilan and a third outsider reader. 

Dave Greber Nonfiction Social Justice Award. The award is made possible by the generosity of Mrs. Shirley Dunn. It carries a prize of $2000CAD (Canadian) for excellence in writing, research and storytelling on subjects related to social justice. It is open to graduating students in the Creative Nonfiction track.This award will be judged by two faculty members from Bar Ilan and a third outside reader. The program reserves the right to withhold award in years when no submission is judged worthy. The chosen student will be asked to write a letter of thanks to the donor, Mrs. Shirley Dunn, and send a copy of the submission to her.

The Bar Sagi Memorial  Award in Fiction of 2,000 NIS. This award is made possible by the generosity of Prof. Anthony Joseph.

The Sandy Nairn Prize for Literary Translation.
