Open Day: Mini-lectures on linguistics
As part of the Bar Ilan open day, the Linguistics division of the ELL department will hold a series of mini-lectures about linguistics and our programs:
10:00: Who are we? Linguistics programs at Bar Ilan
10:10: Why are penguins and kangaroos different? Morphological adaptations on loanwords
10:30: To drop or not to drop: The use of Hebrew pronouns in children with and without autism
10:50 Refreshments
11:10: Bilingualism: Myths and research
11:30: Why study linguistics at Bar Ilan University? Students share their experience
11:50: Questions and answers
